ESPN reported that Favre had surgery on his right shoulder, and though I am really trying to get excited that this will mean that he is getting ready for a triumphant return (again) I can’t help feeling that it might just be because he needed….err…..surgery.


The media is rightly following Brett around on this one.  It is not the first time he has retired and it is a fairytale story when a man approaching his forties can still rule the field.

There is talk that Brett Favre will return at the helm of the Vikings, but no matter how much I wish that were true I want to see some evidence.

Favre’s agent, Bus Cook, has not given any comment on Favre’s plans citing client confidentiality.  We can only keep guessing.  Any Vikings fans care to share their opinion?
