Andrew’s Redskins Review – Week 1
This was always going to be a difficult week and to be honest I never saw us beating the Giants. Certainly not in New York and doubly so in week 1. However, I was pleasantly surprised with some of the play. The offense always seems to take a game to get into their stride, so I expect better next week. Not just because it’s the Rams visiting either.
My three favourite moments:
Finally, in the spirit of non-partisanship: As much as he’s The Enemy, it was really good to see Osi Umenyiora playing and enjoying himself. Whilst I’d have prefered him to be a little less, you know, good, it was still great. His strip from Jason Campbell, recovery and subsequent run for a touchdown was fairy-tale stuff and I wish him well for the rest of the season.
