Matt Cassel Signs Long Term Deal With Chiefs
While Matt Cassel has not officially been named as starting quarterback in Kansas, the signing of a six year deal would seem to suggest that this is not in doubt.
Cassel signed a deal thought to be worth $60m with $15m in the coming season.
While 2008 was a bad year for Tom Brady, it was a gift to Cassel. He got to show off his range of talents and demonstrate why he should have a starting place. Many feel that he has room for improvement, and a six year deal should give him the space to do just that.
