Steve “Air” McNair killed

I’m only just reading about this, but am shocked right now.

There will be sites tracking the story and developments through the [UK] night, and I’ll be looking into it more in the morning. It sounds like a bit of a mess, with some reports saying the former Titans QB was shot by his girlfriend four times before she killed herself. Other reports say double homicide. What’s in little doubt is that a great player has been killed.

The facts will play out, but the important thing for us right now is that he was iconic during his playing days, a true warrior on the field who came this close to being a Superbowl winner.
