Matt Leinart Signed
Sep 6th
Quickly after being released, the Texans have signed him to a one year contract, likely as the backup after poor showings from the incumbent backups during the pre-season. I do like to see players getting a second chance, and always want players to do well, so fingers crossed for him.
First look 2010… AFC South
Jul 14th
Two divisions left to go, both in the AFC. The West, but first let’s take a look at the South. Things didn’t happen in quite the way they were predicted last season. Judging by the number of Colts and Titans shirts we saw at Wembley last year, UK NFL fans would love to see some of these teams in London soon. But they’ll probably just have to hope for serious post-season runs for now…

Results, NFL Week 3 2009
Sep 29th
So a respectable showing from both of us with 11-5 each, but I can’t help thinking that we could have done better.
Denver have surprised us again, but it’s still to early to say if they’re genuine. The Texans are proving to be the most vexing team of the lot, as neither Graham or I have predicted them correctly at all yet. And don’t get me started on the Bengals…
The full matchcards can be viewed at nfl.com or at Yahoo! Sports.
We have the bye-weeks starting in week 4, which is going to make it harder to close the small gap Graham has on me.

Monday’s News Round-up
Sep 7th
Oakland Raiders
Oakland have picked up an important new player in the form of defensive lineman Richard Seymour. Seymour was traded to the Raiders from the New England Patriots yesterday for a first round draft pick in 2011.
Seymour should give the Raiders defence a much-needed boost with his ability and experience. He has played in three Super Bowls with the Patriots and been selected for five Pro Bowls.
Saturday’s News Round-up

Buffalo Bills
News of another coach without a job this morning, as offensive coordinator Turk Schonert was fired by the Buffalo Bills. Thoughts are the same as yesterday, an odd time to do it and the Bills have no time to recover. Tampa Bay suffered last night and I think we will see the same when the Bills face the New England Patriots on the 14th (though it could be said that there was not much hope to begin with).
So Far In Pre-Season…
Aug 14th
As we mentioned before, we’re keeping an eye on what’s happening in the pre-season. In case there’s anything that will affect our predictions for the 12 post-season teams (coming soon!)
Well, there have been a whole load of injuries… here are just some that could have wider impact.
Note that this update does not cover the four games that took place on the 13th August.

Favourite Four: Running Backs #1 – Steve Slaton
Aug 12th
Taking a rest from the defense (though we’ll be back to look at linebackers soon) we move to the offensive side of play. We’ll start with the running backs.
We can’t vouch that these will be the best players in absolute terms, have the biggest fantasy football upside or even be any good (though they might be)… but they’re players that we like to watch.
First up is Steve Slaton of the Houston Texans.

Second Look… AFC South
Aug 3rd
In my First Look at the AFC South I called it one of the toughest to call. And it still looks like that today.
I’ve not made many adjustments to my predictions elsewhere so far. Let’s see if there’s any changes here.

Favourite Four: Defensive Linemen #3 – Mario Williams
Jul 8th
Our ongoing series to look at our favourite players in each position continues with the D-line.
We can’t vouch that these will be the best players in absolute terms, have the biggest fantasy upside or even be any good in Madden (though they might be)… but they’re players that we like to watch.
Today we look at Mario Williams.
First Look… AFC South
Jun 3rd
So many of the divisions seem to have me saying “this is a tough one to call”… and the AFC South is the same again. The Colts took five successfive titles until last year’s impressive Titans‘ run but the Jaguars have made their mark in recent years too.
