Oh no! Romo!!
Oct 27th
By now I’m sure you have all heard about the injury to Tony Romo. He took a hit in Monday night’s game against the Giants and had to leave the field never to return. Well, that night anyway. Now we know the extent of his injury the forecast shows that Tony will miss at least 6-8 weeks with a fractured left clavicle. Good news? No surgery is required, and it is his non-throwing shoulder. Bad news? I suppose the fact that the Cowboys will be without their franchise quarterback during this harsh time is bad news enough… for Cowboys fans anyway.

MNF Week 7, 2010: New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys
Oct 22nd
“I believe in these guys, I believe in the coaching staff, I believe in Wade Phillips. I believe we can turn things around. While the odds are against us, we can make all the things happen that we wanted to do this year.”
Anyone who expected those words to come out of Jerry Jones’ mouth this week, please raise your hands now…

Cowboys Stadium
The Dallas Cowboys enter Week 7 of what was meant to be an historic season that saw them become the first team to be crowned Super Bowl champions in their home stadium, with things looking slightly askew. Last weekend’s 24-21 defeat in Minnesota left the Cowboys at 1-4 and rock bottom of the NFC East.

MNF – Week 6, 2010: Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Oct 14th
We could all be in for a good, entertaining game this Monday night where AFC South rivals the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars go head to head. Both teams are sitting at 3-2 and are having great seasons rushing (both offensively and defensively), and lacklustre seasons in passing (again, both offensively and defensively). It has the potential to be a great battle.

NFL 2010 Week 6 Guest Predictions
Oct 13th
Hi, I’m Chris and I’m a Dallas Cowboys fan (don’t boo!). I first started watching American Football at about 6 years old when Channel Four here in the UK used to air an early morning highlight show at the weekends. At the time the Cowboys were just putting together the roster that would go on to pick up three Super Bowl rings in four seasons. I quickly got hooked watching Emmit Smith avoiding tacklers and moving through holes in defences created by Moose Johnston while being amazed at the almost telepathic connection Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin seemed to have. I still continue to follow the Cowboys despite numerous let-downs and a constant barrage of abuse I get from all my Dallas-hating friends!
I’m taking a look at all the NFL games this week and making my predictions on each one.
Game Predictions
Miami Dolphins @ Green Bay Packers
Usually, I’d pick the Packers straight away for this one but, with doubts surrounding Clay Matthews, Jermichael Finley and Aaron Rodgers, I’m not so sure. Losing Ryan Grant has made the Packers offense one-dimensional and having the two key men in the passing game banged up will further hurt their chances, while the defense looked lost against Washington after their sack-machine Matthews departed. Miami’s main concern will be the performance of their special teams after they were destroyed by the Patriots in Week Four, but a new special teams coach and a bye-week to work on their problems could have sorted them out. Clay Matthews playing will be the key to whether Green Bay win or lose this one.
Prediction: Green Bay

First Look 2010… NFC East
May 20th
I did pretty badly with this last year, predicting that the Giants and Eagles would go into the post-season as winners and wildcard respectively. In the end, the Cowboys surprised and the Giants disappointed to swap places from my predictions. Unfortunately the ‘Skins did no better than I thought they would and were propping up the division.
Let’s see what’s happening for 2010…
Cowboys are “Heavier than metal”
Jun 26th
Something a little different today…
Dallas Linemen Marc Colombo (vocals), Cory Procter (drums) and Leonard Davis (bass) are 3 of the 4-strong heavy metal band Free Reign who have now been signed to label Riot Entertainment and will have their debut album out later this year. Guitarist Justin Chapman sees out the lineup.
First Look… NFC East

So the first thing to say is that it’s way to early to make any sort of accurate predictions. Way, way, way too early. Most of the players are at home, or working out in small groups. The rookies are starting minicamps and there are plenty of factors that will come into play before the pre-season, let alone the regular season.
However, there are odds posted and it’s worth getting our thoughts together at this stage, so let’s check them out!
